My name is Marlee Jo (MJ), and I love finding joy in every little part of life. The small things and the big things. I have a passion for people (interacting, communicating, and connecting). I love traveling and meeting new people, especially in different cultures. And I truly believe in leaving people and places better than how you found them.
Now, I live in Perry, IL with my doggos, Birdie and Rooster, and my black cat, Hutchinson. I am a real estate agent with Whitetail Properties full time, but photography is my passion. Now that we’ve covered that tid-bit, let’s dive into the good stuff!

How do you know I’m the right photographer for you? If you are open-minded, don’t take yourself too seriously, love snuggling with your family, and can take a little bit of inappropriateness for the sake of a good belly laugh, we might make a good match. From your newborn’s rolls, to your 2 year-old’s pout, your 6 year-old’s missing teeth and wild hair, to your family laughing and playing, I want to create images at which you’ll look back on and smile, or even cry. I consider it a gift to be entrusted with these moments.
